We took the grandkids to one of our favorite places in Ohio,Sauder Village in Archbold Ohio.It is like a mini Greenfield Village.It is also not jammed packed with people nor is it expensive.We actually found a Groupon deal for tickets and the Hotel we stayed at had a lower rate as OH went back to school before we did here in Michigan.Best thing about Sauder's is the village,hotel and The Barn restaurant are all on the same property.We did not have to drag the kids in and out of the car.On the way home Grace asked what was the best part of Sauder's?We all agreed it was the lady who asked them to help make brooms..such a sweet person and very patient.
The hotel had a great pool and Tom and the kids swam for about an hour.Everyone was in bed and asleep by 9:30PM.After a great breakfast at the Inn we were on our way home.I suggest taking the turnpike as it saved us so much time.The kids are already telling us to put this on the calendar for next year.
Then back to school...have a great year Roth kids.
