Summer Flew By.

We found this summer just flew by. I had surgery due to a fall off of a ladder and then had another medical scare. Knee is slowly healing and other was given the all clear after some minor surgery. We had our one on one with all three grands and did some fun things. Ella visited a friend of ours in Ohio's farm and fell in love with her draft horses. She was able to drive a skid loader and load barn bedding and feed them carrots. Thanks Angie B for a great experience  and being so generous with your time.We then stopped at the All Star Dairy in Jackson and let me just say it is not what we remember.😞

Eli shopped for Keens and bought a pair of tennis shoes and sandals There was a Lego store next door and it was a window shopping time for us. Who knew that Legos could be so costly. He went fishing with grandpa in the canoe and we had a good time. He broke his arm at the start of summer but has since healed nicely.

Grace was the most chill. She stayed with Miss Mary one evening while Tom and I had something to do and they went to dinner and played cards. She loves to thrift shop so we did that one whole day but she hardly spent any money. So at the end of her stay she wanted the new Taylor Swift Album from Target...easy to please.

Not much crafting going on this summer as a lot of personal stuff going on but winter in MI provides a lot of time to hibernate and get creative. We also celebrated 51 years of marriage this year. Don't forget the stamp convention September 23-24 in Southfield MI. It is the Stamp,Scrap Art Tour. Tickets are $7.00 in advance or $8.00 at the door. Hope your summer was a good one.
