Tulip Time -- Or Not.

I am not far from Holland Michigan and all of the beautiful tulips they are known for. This year was an exception. In fact there were T-shirts being sold bearing the words Stem Fest.

We were way to warm for the month of April and May and all the tulips were gone by the time the festival came around. Stamped ones never die and I love this image from Stampa Rosa K9-1654.

So if you visit Holland Michigan in 2013 you will hopefully be able to see a field of real tulips. I recommend 

Veldheer Tulip Farm, it is beautiful when in bloom. Their catch phrase is....

Where the flowers bloom and the buffalo roam.
