Small But Bright.

We do not put up a large tree anymore,just enough to make it look like Christmas.We celebrated yesterday with our son and his family...we usually do Christmas Eve but we had the kids for a few days and this was easier then making 2 trips for all of us.We had a great time and the kids were so excited and was worth every bit of work seeing the joy on their faces.

A Fairy Merry Christmas.

I loved this stamp but wanted her to look like my granddaughters who both have blond hair.I think you could use her for a lot of occasions.Color her in a child's favorite colors and she could be the birthday fairy..Pink for a tooth fairy.I LOVE Penny Black stamps and my vow to not buy anymore Christmas stamps was broken for the first time in 3 years.Sort of like the Pier One commercials where the items talk to the buyer...she spoke to me. (-:.
The Stamp is Fairy Wishes 4358 J by Penny Black.All the paper was DCWV except for the green glitter..that is from American Crafts..called POW glitter paper..item # 71518 12x12 POWGP Moss SLD.The glitter does NOT rub off.The backing is almost a thin membrane feeling backing.I love it.Also came in polka dots and stripes.I bought it at Tuesday Morning so not sure if any craft store would carry it anymore.The Merry Christmas stamp is from Stampabilities,Merry Christmas 10 # FR1118.

Santa Magic 2012.

This photo was taken when we took our sweet granddaughters to have lunch with Santa at our local deli in Allegan MI. I was just praying that they both would warm up to him enough to get a good picture..yes wishes are granted at Christmas.
I found these 8x8 frames at Hobby Lobby for 50% off so snagged a few.The paper is also from their line and the metal like snowflakes are from Mikes.The stamped saying is from River City Rubberworks-4247-K Reindeer hooves.The paper 3 D Believe is from K and Company.The Christmas 2012 is computer generated.I also photo shopped the picture.

Stamping Friends Make The Best Santa's.

My BFF Kati and her family met us in Jackson Michigan Sunday to celebrate our Christmas.We ate at Outback--yum and had great fellowship.I scored a boatload of great stamping gear and the best was a CTMH Chevron set,lots of pretty paper and flat shiny Dazzle brads.The card here today is the one Kati made for our family..I love it.She used the CTMH Cricut cartridge to make it.She is a rep so has great toys to play with and she shares well with others (-" .If you are looking for anything from Close To My Heart she is a great rep and she will ship just about anyplace.Her E-mail is www.katistamps@yahoo.com Hope you all had a great weekend.

Graphic 45 Is One Of My Fave Papers Companies.

Graphic 45 and their vintage images are so great.They really put the detail in them.I found this Christmas sheet in Shipshewana  and knew I had some great stock for the body.It is from DCWV.I stickled the red on his coat and the harness of the deer.

GW Stamp Board Cards.

My Gingerwoodie stamp board sure has some talented stampers.I received 2 cards from members and they are outstanding so I am sharing them.The top one is from  Marit who is from Norway.She always produces works of  art from the heart and I am so glad to be a recipient of them.The other is from a very special teacher who loves her students and really is glad to be a teacher.Donna C always makes me smile with her cards and again I was lucky to be on her "nice" list this year.Thank you ladies and may we have a lot more fun on GW in 2012.

Christmas Kids.

Our granddaughters had their pictures taken by a great photographer for Christmas.They turned out cute and they all smiled at the same time.It is so hard to get Ella to smile when you want to snap a pic but she is all smiles as soon as you put the camera down....Merry Christmas all and I hope you have a blessed 2012.

Finally Settled On My Christmas Card.

I finally decided what to use for my family Christmas card.I was trying to keep it simple as the PO bump police are getting worse.If it has the tiniest of bumps they whack you an extra 27 cents and Heaven forbid if the darn envelope is square..that is even more.The card body is from DCWV.The embossed front was made using a Darcies folder.
Hope everyone else is faster than I am I might get them all done by Valentines day.

I found this Santa stamp while purging and thought he would look cute if colored on the vellum from the back.He is unmounted so don't know who makes it.The inside says There is no people like snow people.That stamp is from Anita's.

The layers were cuttled using the snowflake folder.The frame is from Spellbinders Nesties.The Peace 3 D is from Mary Engelbreit.I don't remember where the snowflake eyelets came from.

Dec 25 And Santa.

The word stamp is from Hero Arts,Christmas definition D2891 The Santa border is from K&Co they are peel and stick.I used Nesties to create the mount under the definition.The inside says Jesus is the reason for the season.

Using Up Stash.

I have decided that I am going to use my stash up instead of buying anything new--well at least for a while. I know when convention comes around that will be a hard one. Would love to attend the one in southern OH this year or the one in Detroit area in the fall. Will have to look at scheduling for them both. Anyone attend Stamp Away last year?

Still Christmas Here I Guess.

I was in an Ohio Walmart right after Christmas and found these 3 D stickers for .50 for a huge sheet.By far nicer than Jolees.I had some preprinted A2's so I decided to make up a bunch of Christmas cards for next year.

Santa Claus And The Girls.

Grace has not wanted anything to do with Santa.She went once and had a huge "I hate him fit"Now she is a big sis and has decided she will show Ella how to go see Santa.I think she did a great job.He is one of the best looking Santa's I have ever seen.

Old Fashioned Santa.

I bought a page of these retro Santa's a year ago and just ran across them in my stash.The white layer is cuttled using the swiss dots folder.The red layer is from Plymouth Cards.The joy sign is from Office Max and actually is a gift tag.The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Bling Christmas Tree.

I used the Christmas tree folder from Cuttlebug and added tiny little jewels.The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby's wedding department.I found this nifty tool that picks and sets jewels.It is from Quick Kutz called the Quicker-Poker-Picker-Upper.Say that five times fast  (-:
