Our Beautiful Granddaughter Is 12.Time Goes By So Fast.

Our sweet Grace is 12 already..the time sure flies at our age. She is smart, funny and has a huge heart for her family, friends, and animals. She is going to do great things someday. We love you Gracie girl and hope you have all your wishes come true birthday.

Our Sweet GrandGirls.

Our grand-girls Grace and Ella had their school pictures taken.They have grown so much and are so sweet and smart.Grace is always rooting for the underdog and is kind to all.Ella is sassy and loves everyone.She really loves school and is so excited about being in Spanish school.She has told me that soon she and her sissy can speak in Spanish and no one will know what they say..like a code.Grace reads and speaks fluent Spanish and we are so proud of her as she is also in Cheer again this year.We are so blessed to have these two sweeties in our lives...Love you girls.

Shoes..Right,Left,Wrong.

Last week Shawn and I took the girls shoe shopping at Stride Rite.Poor Gracie she has not much to choose from as she is getting so tall and her foot is so skinny.Both girls picked out this pink cute tennis type shoe that had sparkles on them and when you walked they lit up..Woot,Woot.Ella thought the light up part was the best.I think she about wore herself out jumping up and down to make them light up.They both decided to get matching shoes..OK that sounds really good until I remind you that Ell is 2 and Grace is 6.Here is what happens when mom says go put your shoes on and then does not look at your feet until you arrive at your destination and notice that her kid is "walking weird".

Our sweet granddaughter Grace will soon be 6 .We are celebrating tomorrow though as all the grandparents will be together.I used her fave color for the card body and the candles are from the new Sticko line.The fairy and butterfly are from the Mikes line of stickers The inside says The birthday fairy has come to say Congratulations Grace you are 6 today.May all the rest of your Birthday wishes come true.Happy Birthday sweet Gracie.

Three Generations.

My sweet daughter in law Shawn takes the best pictures..I am still cutting off heads in mine.I cased this one from Facebook. Three generations of Roth men.Grandpa Tom.P.J and baby Eli.He is our first and only grandson so we all spoil him just a bit.He will need these guys as backup when he gets a bit older.He has two sisters who like pink..nuff said.

Our Gracie Is Five.

Our sweet granddaughter Grace turned five today.She is such a sweet little girl and we love her very much.Turning five was a fun birthday as my son had to present a paper in Chicago for his job Shawn and Pat decided to take Gracie along as a special  birthday surprise.She went to the American Girl doll store today for her birthday lunch/tea.The picture is of her and her bitty baby.(Thanks Shawnie for the pic).I told her the last time she stayed that she was getting so big I was going to have to put a brick on her head to slow her down....she did not quite get that one.Happy Birthday Gracie girl and may birthday number six take longer to get here.

So Much Fun With Santa.

Today we took our sweet little granddaughters to lunch with Santa.Grace who was never a fan of the big guy in the red suit was talking his ear off today.Ella was OK with it as long as he did not invade her personal space--as you will see.The girls had a blast and that gave mom and dad a break to go finish their Christmas shopping.My son did say that they might just go park and sleep--both kids have had colds and now mom and dad have it.So nice of the girls to share.
Tomorrow I plan on putting up a few cards and some info on a giveaway so stay tuned.

Our Sweet Fairies.

These pics are as good as it gets for costume pics.They do not sit still long enough.Poor Grace her wings looked a bit droopy near the end.They still looked cute and had a blast.

This Fairy Princess Needs A Whole Lot Of Pink.

Our two little granddaughters are going to be fairy princess for Halloween this year.My son and his wife found baby Ella's for $5.00 but I wanted to make Gracies(Thanks Shawnie).I bought this pink tulle a couple of years ago.It was called speckled stardust.....fitting for a princess don't you think.I bought 4 yards of that and 6 yards of the netting underneath to make it poof.The bow in the back was off a roll from Hobby Lobby.She is going to wear pink tights and a pink turtleneck to make the outfit complete.The wands(Grace has one already)came from my OH BFF Waverly..She wore it to school for spirit day along with a smaller pink tutu that she gave us.Would love to see that picture Wave.I will post a pic of Gracie and Ella in their costumes next week.

Grandparents Day & Gracie.

Our granddaughter Gracie attends the enrichment preschool at Grand Valley State University.They celebrated grandparents day by inviting grandparents to come and observe their grandchild while at school.Grace was lucky enough to have both her grans come for the day.Grandma Cathy drove down from Hillman MI and we were both so blessed to spend time with Grace.She is growing so fast,seems just like yesterday that she was crawling.We were able to go outside and swing and play and I have found out that Grace has more energy than the average grandparent will ever have.She introduced us to her BFF Lilly who did not have a grandparent there so Grace shared hers..She also painted pictures for both her grandmas.Was a fun day...I never even realized there was a grandparents day until this year..must be Hallmark invented that one.

Not Stamped BUT Lots Of Scoring.

I LOVE making rosettes.I bought a Tim Holtz die to make smaller ones but I think it is just as easy to use the Martha Stewart score board and make my own.I used netting from Hobby Lobby and Hobby Lobby ribbon and the flower is a Prima.I bought the frame and the smile saying at Hobby Lobby.It hangs in Grace and Ella's room that we made over at our house.They have a place for all their toys and books when they come and stay and they like to look at pictures of their mom and dad so made this up to surprise Gracie next time she comes out.

Our Sweet Granddaughters.

Grace and Ella just had new pictures taken and they are awesome.The photographers name is Christina Heyboer who owns Closer to the Heart  Photography.This is the second time she has done pictures for my son and daughter in law and they are always great.

Hmm Not So Sure I Like Cereal.

Our grand daughter Grace LOVES her baby sister and loves to help take care of her.Ella Is a captive audience here and Grace is doing a great job..and Ella--she is looking like a deer caught in the headlights.Good job Gracie.

Myalmost 4 month old grandaughter was surprised by her mom taking a picture--she is so funny.

Santa Claus And The Girls.

Grace has not wanted anything to do with Santa.She went once and had a huge "I hate him fit"Now she is a big sis and has decided she will show Ella how to go see Santa.I think she did a great job.He is one of the best looking Santa's I have ever seen.

Fall Has Finally Come To Michigan.

My sweet granddaughter loves the outdoors and she loves leaves in the fall. If she had to rake and haul she would not be so enamored.
