Lots Of Nice Mice.

I recently went to one of my favorite place to shop,Haveman Hardware in Fremont MI,where I purchased these House Mouse stickers.I made all the cards pictured with two sheets at $1.99 a sheet.The rest of the items were scraps and card bodies that were left over from other projects. I ended up with 10 get well cards.

Shine was on the words that say"Achoo do hope you feel better soon"

Get Well Paul B.

We have the sweetest couple that sits next to us in church on Sundays Paul and his wife Ann are just the nicest people.Ann has been having some health issues and this week Paul had some flip flops with his heart.He is home now and hope he is doing much better.I am sending him this card as a reminder that we are all thinking of him.Get well Paul so Ann does not have to worry about you.
I used a embossing folder for the front and added some little teal gems from Hero Arts.The saying and the image are actually stickers I purchased at Haveman Hardware in Fremont MI last week.They are so nicely made that they looked stamped so I decided to use them on this card.The inside was stamped and is a House Mouse word stamp...Wishing you good health...#11-1996.
They were supposed to have a stampers garage sale at Haveman's  but only one seller was there when I arrived.I did score nine Copic's for $12.00 and all of them are still pretty juicy.I also found two sets of Nesties,one for $5.00 and the other was $7.00.Would have cost close to $50.00 if purchased in a store. Was a nice ride there and found an oldie's radio station on the way up .BTO and Queen almost the whole way made the long drive go fast.

Friendship Is The Best Medicine.

The front image and saying are from My Favorite Things,,,,sorry do not have the number for that.The paper is all scraps from other projects.I used Wonky Rectangles from Spellbinders for the layering--I cut and embossed each rectangle.I used pop dots behind the image.

Is It A Card Or Is It A Bookmark?

I saw this style of card in a flower shop and took a picture with my phone for future reference.The pink checked paper is from Francis Meyer.The stamped image and words are from an old SU set Tickled Pink 2002.I perforated the edge where the flowers are so when you are finished with the card you tear off the edge and it becomes a bookmark.The flower stickers are from Stickopotamus.All the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Dancing Girls And Balloons.

A GW friends DH had some surgery recently so thought this was a fitting card to send him.The dancing girl is from Art Impressions of course--who else makes them this funny...The balloons are from K & Co,TC Celebrations 555808.The saying on the front and inside were from my warped mind and computer generated.You will see this before the DH Marci.(Click on the pic and it should open bigger in a new window)

The Weaver.

I love this stamp and wanted to make a card for a very special person who has been ill. I used a Sizzix folder for the front.On the green flower layer I used a SU huge background stamp dated 2004.I wish they would put a reference number or a name on their large stamps.I didn't buy it from SU so have no idea.The stamped saying on the front is from Rubberstamp Ave..The Weaver--6654-M.The paper roses on the front are from Treasures by Shabby Chic. Raincoat Kind Of Day.

The cute kid in the raincoat is a die cut -unknown source-I used dimensional glaze on his coat and boots and raindrops.Not sure how well that shows up.I stuck my finger into the pocket before it was dry so now he is carrying a pocket of sunshine.. my oops is fixed.The dog is of course Snoopy from Stampabilities-Snoopy miss you F1104.The word stamp is from PSX C-3018.

Ginormus Paint Chip Card.

They had these rather large paint chips at Wal - Mart that said "take me home" so I did.They make a rather large card.The inside has patterned paper as the paint info and all was inside.The tree/bird stamp is from Penny Black,Natures Dance 3879J.The words at the top are a rub on..a left over from something else.The little button is actually a push pin from the office department of Office Max.I cut the shank off with a shank cutter and pop dotted it on.

Feeling Under The Weather?

I have used this image before but colored from the back on vellum.Today it is on card stock.The image stamp is from Imaginations,sorry no ID. The word stamp is from Art Gone Wild,feeling under the weather J2-922.The original stamp had a duck on his hand but I liked these 3D duck from Jolee's.

Under The Weather.

The image stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs,Inc-- Dalton-LV101.The word stamp is from PSX C3018.I used pastel chalk pencils from  Creatacolor.Edges were punched with a SU punch.

Magenta Birds.

The bird stamp is from Magenta no ID it was unmounted.The words are from Inky Antics G2-10863-F.

Martha & Spellbinders.

I cut a label out of the top layer using Nestibilities # 10 labels.The stamp is from Studio G and the card stock is from Paper Studio.The flower is 3 different sizes of MS daisies layered.The butterfly is a 3 D element from Mikes dollar rack.

Just Because Butterfly.

I found these cute butterflies at Mikes for a dollar.I cuttled the background and the word stamp is from Stamp Affair.

Just A Note Using Flower Soft.

I bought a jar of Flower Soft eons ago and never used it.I saw this months CardMaker magazine and knew I had to play with it.I did not have that tree stamp but I had one that was close enough.It is from  Penny Black, splendor 3977H.I then drew in the grassy mound with chalks.The flowered paper is from DCWV,Nana's Nursery collection.I then added my Flower Soft to the tree using the Flower Soft glue.I added lace a bow and some small jewels.They had small gray pearls but none on hand in my stash.The just a note saying is from the dollar bin at Mikes.I also stippled the background using SU Rose Romance.

Consider Yourself Hugged.

The dog stamp is from Whipper Snappers,Sweet sniffs of spring CY866.The word blob is from Hero Arts clear line.The hug saying is from Lindy's Stamp Gang B 10 is is dated 1993 so not sure if anyone can still get it.The hello is unknown.I chalked the image.The 3 buttons at the top are actually office push pins with the pointy part cut off.The shank remover you use to remove button shanks will cut the pins with no problem.I glued them on with a glue made for metal by Tombo.I sewed a zig zag line across the edge where the 2 pieces of card stock meet.

Jesus Love Me This I Know.

The little girl image is from Hero Arts cling collection.The kitty is a sticker from Stickopotumas.The paper is from Sassafras.The saying is computer generated.

Get Well Fish.

The fish on the front is a wooden die cut from Hobby Lobby.The saying is "green around the gills" is from River City Rubber Works-1735F.The inside says "Here's a little card to perch you up"also RCRW 1736F.I used a bubble folder from Cuttlebug for the water.

An Apple A Day...

The background is a Spellbinders embossing Folder. The card layers are scraps of textured card stock, the 3D apples came from Mikes dollar bin. Inside has red gingham paper and says get well soon.
